Painting Workshops & Creative Events in Zurich

What is ebrahstudio?

ebrahstudio is not your typical art teacher. I host creative painting workshops and events in Zurich, without pressure, without “you have to do it this way” and without that traditional art class feeling. It’s about trying things out, switching off, spending time together and leaving with something you actually made yourself. Besides workshops, I also create mirrors and jewellery. So ebrahstudio is less of a traditional art studio and more my creative world.

Do I need to know how to paint?

No. Really. You don’t need to know how to draw, mix colours or hold a brush “correctly”. I’ll show you how to get started, give you ideas and help whenever you get stuck. But your painting doesn’t have to look like mine at the end. Actually, I’d rather it didn’t.

What happens at a painting workshop?

You arrive, get your materials and then we start creating. I’ll guide you through the workshop, but there’s enough freedom to make it your own. No school vibes, no perfectionism and no pressure to create a masterpiece. Just paint, experiment and have a good time.

How long does a workshop last?

Most workshops last around 2.5 to 3 hours. Long enough to switch off, get creative and enjoy the process without feeling rushed.

Can I take my artwork home?

No. You’ll pick it up a few days later, or we meet in the city to get your masterpiece.

Where do the workshops take place?

ebrahstudio doesn’t have one fixed studio location. The painting workshops take place at selected venues around Zurich, currently, for example, at Quartierhaus Kreis 6. You’ll always find the exact location in the details of each event before booking.

Is it Paint & Sip?

It can be. Depending on the event, you can have a drink, paint and turn it into a relaxed Paint & Sip evening in Zurich. Some workshops are also Bring Your Own Beverage. You’ll find the details in the individual event description.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Come alone, with your best friend, your date, your whole group or your work crew. You definitely don’t need to find someone to come with you first.

Who are the workshops for?

For adults and teenagers who want to get creative without signing up for a traditional painting class. Maybe you haven’t painted since school. Maybe you paint all the time. Both are welcome.

Can I celebrate my birthday with ebrahstudio?

Yes. Birthdays, girls’ nights, boys’ nights, friends’ nights, bachelorette parties or simply a “we should really do something together again” kind of evening. For private groups, we can organise a creative painting workshop in Zurich that fits your occasion.

Do you also offer team events?

Yes. If your team wants to do something different from another dinner or after-work apéro, you can book a creative team event with ebrahstudio. Painting works surprisingly well when you want to forget about laptops, meetings and everyday work life for a few hours.

Is it good for a date night?

Definitely. If you’re not in the mood for another dinner-and-drinks date, a painting workshop is a fun date night idea in Zurich. You get to make something together, actually talk and leave with a little reminder of the evening.

What’s included in the workshop?

Everything you need to paint. Materials, paints, guidance and support are included. Usually, all you need to bring is yourself and a little willingness to try something new.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable. Creativity can get messy, but that’s part of the fun. Aprons are provided.

What else does ebrahstudio create besides painting workshops?

I also create mirrors and jewellery. For me, ebrahstudio is generally about making things that feel a little different, are fun and don’t look mass-produced. Painting workshops are part of it, but they’re not the whole story.
